ATTENTION VOTERS!
Voter ID Required.
Utah Election Laws now require every voter to provide valid voter identification before being allowed to vote.
If the voter is unable to provide such identification, they will be required to vote a Provisional Ballot and will have five (5) days following election day to provide valid voter identification to the County Clerk to make their Provisional Ballot countable.
One (1) of the following forms of identification with a name, photo and current place of residence will be a valid voter ID:
- Current valid Utah Drivers License;
- Current valid ID card issued by Utah State; or a branch, department or agency of the US government;
- Current valid Utah permit to carry a concealed weapon;
- Current valid US passport;
- Valid tribal ID card (whether or not the card includes a photo of the voter).
OR
Two (2) of the following forms of identification showing name and at least one of them with the current address of the voters place of residence within the City:
- Current utility bill dated within 90 days of election;
- Bank or financial statement;
- Certified birth certificate;
- Valid social security card;
- Check issued by the State or federal government;
- Copy of paycheck from voters employer;
- Current valid Utah hunting or fishing license;
- Current valid US military ID card;
- Certified naturalization document;
- Current valid license issued by an authorized US agency;
- Certified court record showing adoption or name change;
- BIA card;
- Valid Medicaid, Medicare or electronic benefits transfer card;
- Current valid ID card issued by local government within Utah;
- Current valid ID card issued by Utah employer;
- Current valid ID card issued by Utah college, university, technical or professional school;
- Current valid vehicle registration;
- Current single source establishing name and residence.
