Section 12.12.010 Required.

In all residential areas of Vernal City where there exists a sidewalk which has been set back and is separate from a roadside curb and gutter, the immediately adjoining private property owner shall maintain the real property located between the roadside curb and gutter and the sidewalk in a neat and orderly manner, equal to the manner in which the owner customarily maintains his adjoining real property, which customary manner shall not be less than the minimum standard otherwise permitted or required by law. Such property shall be kept free of weeds, debris and trash, and will specifically be subject to enforcement of the weed abatement ordinance as set forth in Chapter 8.08 of this code. Any trees planted in the parking area shall be subject to the provisions of Chapter 8.04.010(I) prohibiting the planting of trees in such a way as to cause damage to sidewalks, curbs, gutters or streets.
