Prior to the adoption of Ord. 2012-01 on 01/19/2012, Section 16.04.235 read as follows.

The term "family" shall mean:

A. One (1) or more persons related by blood, marriage , adoption or operation of law, to include foster children, ~~plus domestic servants employed for service on the premises or a group of bachelor or bachelorettes of not more than four (4) persons who need not be so related~~ living together as a single ~~nonprofit~~ housekeeping unit in a dwelling unit; or

B. A group of not more than four (4) persons not related by blood, marriage, adoption or operation of law living together as a single housekeeping unit in a dwelling unit; or

C. Two (2) unrelated persons and their children living together as a single housekeeping unit in a dwelling unit. (PZSC § 03-15-047)
