Prior to the adoption of Ord. 2005-07 on 06/01/2005, Section 16.04.405 read as follows.

A building or structure or portion thereof that legally existed before its current ~~zoning~~ land use designation; and because of subsequent ~~zoning~~ land use ordinance changes does not ~~conform~~ comply with the ~~zoning~~ land use regulation's setback, height restrictions or other regulations that govern the building or structure.
