Section 16.06.030 Building permits required.

No building, structure, pipeline, or transmission line shall be constructed, altered or moved, nor shall the use of land be changed except after the issuance of a permit for the same by the Building Official; provided, that no permit shall be necessary where the erection, construction, reconstruction or alteration is minor in character as defined herein, or as determined by the Building Official. Minor in character means erection, construction, reconstruction or alteration that does not impact public health, public safety or structural integrity. A careful record of such applications and permits shall be kept in the office of the Building Official for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt thereof. (PZSC § 03-02-003)
