Prior to the adoption of Ord. 2005-07 on 06/01/2005, Section 16.10.030 read as follows.

    Appeals to the Board of Adjustment may be taken by any person aggrieved or by any officer, department, board or agency of the City affected by any land use decision of the Building Official   applying the land use ordinance . Such appeal shall be taken within thirty (30) days after the alleged error in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Building Official applying the land use ordinance  in the enforcement of this title by filing with the Board of Adjustment a notice of appeal specifying the grounds thereof. The Building Official from whom the  appeal is taken shall be forthwith transmit ted  to the Board of Adjustment with all papers constituting the record upon which the action appealed from was taken.
