The storage and/or continuous parking of trucks having a rated capacity of one and one-half (1-1/2) tons and construction  equipment such as bulldozers, graders, compressors, etc., shall not be permitted in any residential zone; provided, that construction equipment may be stored on a lot during construction of a building thereon, but not to exceed one (1) year.
