Section 16.26.220 Parking space requirements--Existing buildings.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 2010-18 on 10/20/2010, Section 16.26.220 read as follows.
For buildings in existence at the effective date of this chapter or an amendment
thereto,
the use of such buildings
shall not
may
change
unless the new use complies
without
being required to comply
with the parking requirements contained in this chapter.

new use of the building
However, if a building is enlarged,
it shall either provide the
required number of off-street parking spaces for the enlargement as set forth in Sections
16.26.110 and 16.26.120 or shall pay in lieu of required parking as set forth in Section
