Chapter 16.42 R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE
Section 16.42.090 Off-street parking layout and landscaping plan requirements.
Plans showing proposed off-street parking layout and landscaping
in conformance with
Chapter 16.27 herein shall be submitted to and approved by the Building Inspector or Planning
Commission as applicable for buildings containing five (5) or more dwelling units, boarding
houses, rest homes, clubs, lodges, churches, schools, and similar uses prior to the issuance of a
building permit. The plans shall provide that all land not covered by buildings or by off-street
parking space shall be planted in lawn, trees, shrubs or groundcover and otherwise landscaped
and maintained in accordance with good landscaping practice as outlined in Chapter 16.27
herein. The required thirty (30) foot setback space shall not be used for automobile parking, but
shall be landscaped and maintained with lawn, trees, shrubs or groundcover except for permitted
