A.    The I-1 industrial zone covers the portion of the City which is primarily suited for industrial development. However, in an effort to give some protection to the surrounding residential and commercial zones, certain types of industrial uses are excluded, such as industries which are hazardous or are offensive due to excessive odors, vibration, dust or other emissions. And, because of the adverse affects which occur when permitted to commingle, certain other uses are excluded from the I-1 zone.

    B.    In order to accomplish the objectives and purposes of this chapter and to stabilize and protect the essential characteristics of this zone, the following regulations shall apply in the I-1 zone. (PZSC § 03-26-0014)
