Chapter 16.56 MANUFACTURED HOME PARK AND TRAVEL TRAILER COURT REGULATIONS
Section 16.56.020 Manufactured home park regulations--Approval--Intent.
A. The owners of a tract of land not
less than four (4) acres, which land lies in an MH zone
may construct a manufactured home park thereon upon compliance with regulations and
restrictions as hereinafter set forth and after approval of such manufactured home park by the
Planning Commission.
B. The intent of this provision is:
1. To permit variety and flexibility
in land development for residential purposes by allowing
the use of manufactured homes in certain areas within the City which have been zoned for such
use;
2. To do so in a manner to promote
the objectives and purposes of the zoning ordinance and
to protect the integrity and characteristics of the zones contiguous to those areas where
manufactured home parks are located. (PZSC § 03-27-001 (1))
