Section 16.58.180 Cul-de-sacs.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 2005-07 on 06/01/2005, Section 16.58.180 read as follows.
Cul-de-sacs (dead-end streets) shall be used only where unusual conditions exist
which
make other designs undesirable. Maximum cul-de-sac length shall be no more than
six
two
hundred fifty (

50) feet to the beginning of the turn-around. Each cul-de-sac shall
have a minimum of sixty (60) feet and must be terminated by a turn-around of not less
than one hundred (100) feet right-of-way width in diameter (eighty-two (82) feet face to
face of curb). Surface water must drain away from the turnaround except that where
surface water cannot be drained away from the turnaround along the street due to the
grade, necessary catch basins and drainage easements shall be provided. (PZSC § 03-28-005 (2) (K))
