Section 2.32.010 Appointment - ad hoc deputies.

The Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council, shall appoint a qualified person to the office of City Recorder, who shall have such powers and perform such duties as are now or may hereafter be provided by law or ordinances and who shall also serve as City Manager. The City Recorder may appoint an ad hoc deputy or deputies as is required from among the existing employees of the City as are necessary to assist in the Recorder's public duties. Such ad hoc appointment shall not affect the existing job status or salary of the deputy. (Added during 1993 recodification)
