Section 2.84.040 City forester

Upon a determination that a violation of the provisions of this Chapter exists, the City forester, or the City forester's authorized representative, shall ascertain the name of the owner of property on which the violation has occurred or exists, and shall serve notice in writing upon the owner of such property, either personally or by mailing notice by certified mail, postage prepaid, addressed to the owner at the last known post office address as disclosed by the records of the county recorder, requiring such owner as the case may be, to correct or remedy the violation within such time as the City forester, or the City foresters authorized representative, may designate which shall be no less than (15) fifteen days from the date of service of such notice.
