Section 2.84.100 Appeal of decisions.

    Decisions made by the City forester with regard to the administration and enforcement of regulations as provided in this Chapter may be appealed in writing within (20) twenty days of the notice or decision in question. The appeal will be made to the City Council by delivering an appeal in writing to the City recorder's office. The City forester shall be notified by the City recorder’s office of the appeal hearing at least (48) forty-eight hours in advance of the hearing time set.  No action on the problem shall be taken by the City forester pending the outcome of the appeal.  The City Council shall hear all parties wishing to be heard on the matter during the appeal and shall make a decision within (15) fifteen days of the receipt of their appeal. The City recorder shall  notify, in writing, all persons concerned of the City Council's approval or disapproval of the action of the Council. The City Council's decision shall be final subject only to such injunctive relief as may be ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction.
