Section 3.16.030 Delinquent list

After the date of delinquency is fixed in the levy and notice of tax, the Vernal City Treasurer shall compile a list of all delinquent property and shall advertise for sale all delinquent property. Notice of sale shall be published three (3) times in a newspaper published and having general circulation in Uintah County, once in each of the three (3) successive weeks immediately preceding the date of sale. Notice of sale shall also be sent by certified mail to the last known recorded owner and all other legally interested persons according to the records of Uintah County recorder's office as of thirty (30) days prior to the date of sale and to the last known address or the addresses stated on the instruments of title in the records of Uintah County recorder's office. The notice of sale shall be in substantially the form as shown in Exhibit 3.16.030. (Ord. 90-05 § 3)

Notice is hereby given that on the day of , 19 , at o'clock a.m., at the main South entrance of the Uintah County Courthouse, 147 East Main Street, Vernal, Uintah County, Utah, I will offer for sale at public auction and sell to the highest bidder for cash, under the provisions of Vernal City Ordinance and Section 10-16-1 et seq., Utah State Code as amended, the following described real estate located in Uintah County, for the purpose of collecting all assessments or special taxes made under Section 10-16-1 et seq., Utah State Code, which are past due and unpaid. No bid for less than the total amount of assessments or special tax, interest, penalty, title search, fees, advertising, publication and fees, certified mailing and all other costs which are a charge upon the real estate will be accepted.
