Section 3.32.030 Disposal of real property.

     A.    No significant parcel of real property may be disposed of or leased unless and until a public hearing has been held by the City Council concerning disposition of the property.  Such public hearing shall be held in the manner as required by Utah State law, 10-8-2(4).  "Significant" shall be defined as any parcel of real property having a market value of five-thousand ( $5,000.00 ) dollars  or more.
    B.    If the City Council desires to dispose of a parcel of real property having a market value of less than  five-thousand ( $5,000.00 ) dollars,  it may proceed with the disposal of such property as provided in Section 3.32.020 of this Chapter.
    C.    For the disposal of real property having a market value of five-thousand ($5000.00) dollars or more, the City Council shall hold a public hearing for the purpose of seeking public input regarding the disposal of such property.  The notice of such hearing shall be published in a newspaper having general circulation in Vernal City at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the hearing.
