Every person, partnership and corporation engaged in business in the City shall secure from the License Clerk a license for such business; provided, however, that every person (including every partner of any partnership or unincorporated association, but not the partnership or association as an entity) and every corporation shall secure a license for such business or profession. A separate license must be obtained for each separate place of business maintained within the City except as provided in Section 5.04.091 of this Chapter. Such licenses shall be issued upon written application therefor in such form as the License Clerk may prescribe and upon payment of the fees required by this title, and when it shall be ascertained that all prerequisites for the issuance of each license shall have been satisfied and fulfilled.
