Chapter 5.04 BUSINESS LICENSES GENERALLY
Section 5.04.110 Multiple businesses under same roof.
Except as otherwise specifically provided herein, whenever
more than one (1) business, trade,
profession, calling or occupation is being carried on by one (1) licensee at one (1) place of
business which uses the same business entrance and other common areas, such licensee shall for
such businesses, trades, professions, callings or occupations so carried on by such licensee at one
(1) place of business which uses the same business entrance and other common areas, pay only
the applicable license fee of the business, trade, profession, calling or occupation from which the
licensee derives the greatest percentage of his gross revenue and/or income. When a licensee
operates two (2) separate businesses which do not operate under the same business name and
which do not share the same business entrance and other common areas, the licensee shall obtain
a license for each business that maintains a separate business entrance, even though the
businesses are carried out under the same roof. (Prior code § 11-01-011)
