In all cases where this title or any other City ordinance requires a license to be obtained for the purpose of engaging in or carrying on any business or occupation, and such ordinance requires the licensee to obtain from the License Clerk metal plates or badges, it shall be the duty of the License Clerk to deliver such plate or badge free of charge to the person paying the license fee. Such fee shall be considered as covering the cost of the issuance of the license, together with the plate or badge. (Prior code § 11-02-014)
