Section 5.08.060 Amusement device.

    "Amusement device" means any machine which, upon the insertion of a coin, slug, token, plate, disc or upon the payment of a consideration, may be operated by the public generally for use as a game, entertainment or amusement, whether or not registering a score. It includes such devices as marble machines, pinball machines, skill ball, mechanical grab machines which yield a prize, and all games, operations or transactions similar thereto under whatever name they may be indicated. The term does not include coin-operated phonographs, ride machines designated primarily for the amusement of children, or vending machines in which are not incorporated features of gambling or skill.
