"Liquor" means and includes alcohol or any alcoholic, spirituous, vinous, fermented, malt or other liquor or combinations of other drinks and drinkable liquids containing more than one-half (1/2) of one (1) percent of alcohol by weight; and all mixtures, compounds or preparations, whether liquid or not, which contain more than one-half (1/2) of one (1) percent of alcohol by weight and which are capable of human consumption; except that the term liquor" shall not include beer.
