Chapter 5.12 LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS
Section 5.12.620 Division H--Finance, insurance and real estate.
This division includes establishments operating primarily
in the fields of finance, insurance
and real estate. Finance includes banks and trust companies, credit agencies other than banks,
holding (but not primarily operating) companies, other investment companies, brokers and
dealers in securities and commodity contracts and security and commodity exchanges. Insurance
covers carriers of all types of insurance and insurance agents and brokers. Real estate includes
owners, lessors, buyers, sellers, agents and developers of real estate. In most cases,
establishments included in this division are primarily engaged in specialized activities in either
the finance, insurance or real estate field and can therefore be classified in one (1) of the major
groups provided for these activities. However, there are some establishments which are regularly
engaged in some combination of finance, insurance, real estate and law, no one of which is the
principal activity. A separate major group (66) has been provided for such establishments. (Prior
