Chapter 5.20 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Section 5.20.160 Qualifications of licensees.
All licensees shall comply with the provisions of the Alcoholic
Beverage Control Act of the
state, and the applicable regulations of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and this
chapter. No license shall be granted to any person to sell alcoholic beverages or allow the
consumption of any alcoholic beverage on any premises within the City unless he be of good
moral character, at least twenty-one (21) years of age, and a citizen of the United States of
America; nor to anyone who has been convicted of a felony or of any violation of any law or
provision of this title, or who has pleaded guilty to, or has forfeited his bail on a charge of having
committed a felony or having violated any such law or ordinance; nor to any partnership, any
member of which lacks any of the qualifications set forth in this section, or to any corporation,
the director, or officer of which lacks any such qualification. (Prior code § 11-05-016)
