The licensee shall be responsible for the operation of the business in conformance with all applicable statutes, ordinances and regulations, and it shall be grounds for revocation of the license if a violation of the statutes, ordinances or regulations occurs through an act of a licensee, operator, employee, agent or person who is allowed to perform for patrons of the licensee's business, whether or not the person is paid by the licensee for the performance, or any person who violates the statutes, ordinances or regulations with the consent or knowledge of the licensee or his agents or employees or operator of the business.
