All applications for licenses authorized by this chapter shall be verified and shall be filed with the City License Clerk. Applications must state the name and address of the applicant, and if a firm, corporation, partnership, association or club, the principal officers thereof and their addresses. All applications by individuals must be subscribed by the applicant, who must state under oath that the facts stated therein are true. Applications by partnerships must be subscribed and sworn to the effect above-stated by all of the members thereof, and applications by a corporation must be subscribed and sworn to the effect above-stated by the president and vice president and the secretary thereof. No application shall be accepted or filed by the City License Clerk unless the statements therein contained conform to the foregoing provisions.
