Chapter 5.33 FRANCHISE - CABLE COMMUNICATIONS
Section 5.33.002 Application for franchise; application fee.
The City may develop rules and regulations with respect to the submission and
processing of applications for a franchise. Each applicant for a franchise shall submit an
application to the City for the franchise which shall primarily assist the City in
determining the legal, financial, technical and character qualifications of the applicant.
Unless otherwise prohibited, an applicant shall pay an initial or renewal application
fee
in the amount of $500.00, or an amount shown on a consolidated fee schedule adopted by
the City. The total application fee must be paid prior to approval of the applicant’s
request for a franchise.
