Section 5.33.160 Severability

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid by the FCC or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof or of this ordinance. The operator shalt not be bound by the provisions of any ordinances which are inconsistent with the terms of this franchise ordinance.

The provisions of this ordinance shall be severable and if any provision thereof or the application of such provision under any circumstances is held invalid and it shall not affect the validity of any other provision of this ordinance or the application in a different circumstance.
