Chapter 5.35 FRANCHISE - TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Section 5.35.290 Criminal penalties.
A. Any violation or failure to abide by, and comply with,
any provision or
requirement of this ordinance shall be a violation of the Vernal City Code and shall be
punished as a class B misdemeanor unless otherwise provided by State law. Each day
that a violation continues shall be a separate and additional offense.
B. In addition to those criminal and civil remedies provided
by state and federal law,
it shall be a misdemeanor for any person to create or make use of any unauthorized
connection, whether physically, electrically, acoustically, inductively, or otherwise with
any part of a provider's telecommunication system without the express consent of the
provider. Further, without the express consent of the provider, it shall be a misdemeanor
for any person to tamper with, remove, or injure any property, equipment, or part of the
provider's telecommunications system or any means of receiving cable
telecommunication service or other services provided thereto.
