It is unlawful for any person to conduct or maintain any dancehall licensed by this title, or having charge or control thereof, to allow or permit any such dance or dancing, between the hours of 1:00 a.m. of any weekday and 8:00 a.m. of the same day, or between 1:00 a.m. Sunday and 8:00 a.m. the following Monday: provided, as exceptions to the foregoing requirements, that on New Year's Day, dancing may be permitted to continue after 1:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. on any day of the week except Monday; and provided further, that when New Year's Day falls on Monday, dancing may be permitted from 12:01 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Prior code § 11-13-011)
