Prior to the adoption of Ord. 2005-15 on 10/05/2005, Section 6.08.010 read as follows.

Any person employed by or under contract with the ~~Vernal~~ City to serve as an Animal Control Officer shall take the oath of office and shall be vested with power and authority to enforce this title as provided herein . (CC § 08-10-004 (1))
