Prior to the adoption of 99-03 on 05/10/1999, Section 6.20.050 read as follows.

    A.    The owner of any impounded animal, or his authorized representative, or purchaser of an adopted animal, may redeem and claim such animal before disposition, provided he pays:
    1.    The impound fee (exempted for an adopted animal);
    2.    The daily board charge;
    3.    Veterinarian costs incurred during the impoundment period, including rabies vaccination;
    4.    License fee, if required for a mandatory implanted licensing chip unless the animal is currently licensed.
    5.    Sterilization deposit as provided in Chapter 6.22.  
    B.    Fees to be charged for the services described in subsection A of this section shall be set by resolution of the Vernal City Council. (CC § 08-10-009)
