Section 6.20.060 Recordkeeping.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 2005-15 on 10/05/2005, Section 6.20.060 read as follows.
A. The Animal Control Officer shall keep adequate records
as listed below of all
animals impounded:
1. A
complete report of any complaint, if applicable;
A. 2. A
complete description of the animal, including sex, color, breed, and if
available, license and rabies tag numbers;
B. 3. The manner
and date of impound;
C. 4. The
location of the impound pickup and the name of the officer
impounding picking up the animal;
B. The shelter manager shall keep adequate records as
listed below of all animals
impounded.
1. A
complete description of the animal impounded or relinquished to the
shelter, including license tag number, rabies number, color, breed and sex of the animal;
D. 2. The
date and manner of disposal;
E. 3. The
name and address of the person claiming, adopting, or fostering the
animal, or the name of the 501c (3) organization to which the animal was released
redeemer or purchaser;
F. 4. The
name and address of any person relinquishing an animal to the animal
shelter impound facility;
G. All fees received;
H. 5. All
expenses accruing during impoundment of an animal;.
6. All
contracts and compliance records pertaining to the disposition of the
animal.
