Section 6.20.080 Owner or authorized agent release.

A. An owner or authorized agent may release to the shelter a cat or a dog after paying an owner release fee. This fee will be established by resolution of the City Council.

B. An owner or authorized agent may release to the shelter, after paying an owner release fee, a female cat or dog with its litter providing the litter is not weaned. This fee will be established by resolution of the City Council.

C. All owner released animals shall become the property of the shelter and shall be under the provisions of this title.
