Chapter 6.22 PET STERILIZATION REGULATIONS
Section 6.22.020 Animal shelter shall transfer only sterilized animals, or shall require a sterilization pre-payment.
A. The animal shelter may not release an animal that has not been
sterilized, except as
provided in Subsection (B).
B. The animal shelter may release an animal that has not been sterilized
only if the
animal shelter received from the recipient a sterilization
prepayment
as provided under
Section 6.22.030 of this Chapter or if the animal has been placed in the custody of a 501
(C)(3) United States Internal Revenue Code animal welfare organization that is under
contract with the City and has a program adhering to the ordinances of Vernal City .
