A.  It shall be unlawful for any person to:

        1.    Falsify any proof of sterilization submitted for the purpose of compliance with this Chapter;

        2.    Provide to an animal shelter or a licensed veterinarian inaccurate information regarding ownership of any animal required to be submitted for sterilization under this Chapter;

        3.    Issue a check for insufficient funds for any sterilization deposit required of the person under this Chapter.

    B.  Any person violating the provisions of this Chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1.16 of this code.(Ord. No. 99-03, Enacted, 05/10/99)
