Section 6.24.010 Vaccination - required.

    The owner or person having the charge, care, custody and control of a four (4) month of age or older cat or dog shall have the animal vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian within thirty (30) days after it reaches the age of four months. The animal then must be vaccinated within twelve (12) months thereafter. Any dog or cat older than one (1) year shall be vaccinated once every thirty-six (36) months. Any person permitting an animal to be on or remain, or be lodged or fed within such person's house, yard or premises for a period of more than seventy-two (72) hours shall be responsible for the vaccination of the animal. This provision shall not apply to veterinarian or kennel operators temporarily maintaining on their premises animals owned by another. (CC § 08-10-017 (1))
