Section 41-6-76 of the Utah Code Annotated, paragraph (a), is amended to add the following sentence:

Every pedestrian shall yield the right-of-way and shall immediately leave the roadway and remain out of the roadway until an authorized emergency vehicle has passed or otherwise directed by a police officer.
