**VERNAL CITY PUBLIC HEARING**
A public hearing of the Vernal City Council will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 7:15 p.m. to consider an application for funding to the Permanent Community Impact Fund Board of the State of Utah for the 2023 Water Line Replacement Project – Phase I. This project is for the replacement of over 12,000 feet of water line in various locations in the city. Water services and fire hydrants will also be replaced in the project area. The funding requested is in the amount of $4,968,000 with $3,000,000 requested as grant and $1,968,000 requested as a 30-year loan at 0.5% interest. The actual funding offered by the CIB may be different than that requested and include more loan than requested. The public is invited to offer their comments on the project at the public hearing, which will be held in the Vernal City Council Chambers at 374 East Main Street, Vernal, Utah.
